LDA Approval is given to the residential societies by LDA. Lahore Development Authority or commonly known as LDA is the development authority for Lahore City that approves and rejects the development happening or ought to happen in the city. Now LDA provides No Objection Certificate or NOC to the residential societies. This certificate is obtained by the societies by better and proper town planning and by providing basic amenities to luxurious amenities.

NOC is also required at the time of sale of property in the LDA Approved societies by the seller. This is only available where the transfer procedure has been done. The applicant has to submit an application along with a copy of the ownership document (exemption letter/allotment letter/transfer letter) & a copy of CNIC. After issuance & submission NOC fee challan, the applicant has to submit an application along with a copy of paid challan & CNIC.

Acquring of land:

LDA do not approve any project until the land for the development has already been acquired by the owners. Without the actual and physical land, LDA do not trust to approve the projects and try to save the investors to the maximum level as they can.
