Inauguration of Jamia Masjid-e-Riaz, Bahria Orchard Phase 4 Lahore

Created with two minarets, each 80 feet elevated, and three domes in which the size of 2 domes is of 20 feet diameter and the one central dome of 40 feet diameter.

Jamia Masjid-e-Riaz is a true representation of elegance, splendor, and Islamic values. This state-of-the-art Jamia Masid features a beautiful blend of rich Islamic architecture and contemporary designs. Imported white marble, German-made chandelier and Aluminum work are used to achieve the finished look of the Jamia Masjid.

Jamia Masjid-e-Riaz has a state-of-the-art ablution area and well-maintained green areas. With this, Grand Jamia Masjid Lahore is the largest mosque in Pakistan and the seventh-largest in the world with a capacity of 250,000 worshipers whereas the world’s third and Pakistan’s largest masjid Grand Jamia Masjid is already in its final phase of construction.

Jamia Masjid-e-Riaz Inauguration:

This Jamia Masjid-e-Riaz is inaugurated by Bahria Town on 8th January, 2021. Maulana Tahir-ul-Ashrafi inaugurated the Jamia Masjid and led the Friday prayers. During the congregational prayers, a small group of people attended due to the Covid-19 safety measures while strictly following precautions and maintained a necessary distance between the worshippers.

Mosques are the nucleus of peace, affection, tolerance, and teaching the teachings of Haqooq-ul-Allah and Haqooq-ul-Ibad (People’s Rights), said Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Ashrafi, Special Aide to Prime Minister on Religious Harmony and Middle East.

Talking to media after the inaugural ceremony of the Jamia Masjid-e-Riaz in Bahria Town on Friday 8th January, 2021, Hafiz Ashrafi said establishing Darul Afta and Peace Center in Bahria Town will support the endeavors to eradicate the menace of extremism and terrorism. “It is a welcome sign that all the Bahria Town mosques are free of sectarianism and violence.  It is mandatory for mosques from the teachings of Quran and Sunnah to enlighten people about Haqooq-ul-Allah and Haqooq-ul-Ibad.”

He also admired the efforts of Malik Riaz and his son for making all the mosques of Bahria Town free of sectarian discrimination.
